Ray's expertise in custom lettering and typographic design has brought him notoriety from ad agencies, publishers, package design and corporate identity firms.
Designing new typefaces is Ray's passion. His wide variety of type styles are published by Agfa/Monotype, Bitstream and Garage Fonts.
While at Young & Rubicam Advertising, Ray's expertise in typographic design and art direction enabled him to create brochures, logos and custom typefaces for Y&R's most prestigious clients, including AT&T, Xerox and Philip Morris.
Ray has taught type design at Pratt-Phoenix, and has been a guest lecturer
at other art schools and professional organizations. He has received over 30 graphic and type design awards from TDC, AIGA and ADC and other associations. |
